The earliest known leather shoe is believed to have dated back to 3500BC. It was made from cowhide and was found in a cave in Armenia in 2008. Now this shoe was made from cowhide which is leather that is from the hide of a cow, shoes are now made of many different materials such as suede, mesh, rubber, wood and leather. these are just some examples. All these examples that shoes are made of are all made from a primary resource. For example suede is made from the underside of the skin of a lamb, but that's if its real.
